This SDGs Center functions as a center for research, education, and community service that focuses on achieving the 17 SDGs goals agreed upon by the United Nations. With the establishment of the SDGs Center, higher education institutions can play an active role in promoting sustainable development through various programs and activities relevant to the SDGs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #111111; text-align: start; white-space-collapse: preserve; background-color: #f7f7f7;\">The SDGs Center ULM has distinct characteristics focusing on sustainable development in the South Kalimantan region, which faces specific challenges such as peatland degradation, natural resource exploitation, as well as flood disaster mitigation due to climate change and sustainable wetland management.
